Tyrants, Despots, and Authoritarians Part 2: Genghis Kahn

By all accounts Genghis Kahn was a cruel, merciless tyrant who conquered most of Eurasia through mass genocide, and an extremely energetic campaign of polygamy that has resulted in more than 16 million descendants alive today. He is also credited with conquering the enormous network of trade routes known as the Silk Road allowing for an unprecedented blooming of cross-cultural creativity throughout Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Yes he was a horrible monster, but apparently Genghis was a monster with a lot of style.
