Another in a series about my head.

Some days are just busier than others.

And some days my head is a bouncy castle with one, lone kid ricocheting inside.

  1. Lisa, I guess you know about that kid in the castle thing. It's got a couple of different levels going on...

  2. Love this drawing and am with you! Some days my bouncy castle is half deflated. But still with two fighting little boys in it. Most days, though, it has two slides and lots of laughter. Thank goodness for that.

Hmmm. I wonder what Freud would say about all this?

  3. Thanks, gradydoctor. Most days it's pretty good for me too. Just came back from Middle School Orientation... our one and only is going into 5th grade in the fall and it seems like as big a step for us as it is for her.

  4. Oh, and by the way, I don't know much about what Freud would've thought about all this but I hope he would've considered the bouncy castle a pretty good metaphor for the jumping bean brain of a typical parent.

  5. Why is it I can completely and totally relate to this post?

  6. Maybe it's because we share the same name (my nickname growing up was
    Skip).
